This piece of planning shows the second sketch I have created for my magazine cover and contents page. This edition will be my second edition and will therefore be more relevant on my final website. For this edition I want the overall colour palette to be more colourful than my first edition, with pastel colours being the theme. These pastel colours will be seen within Cara's outfit (rainbow crochet jumper) and the natural background behind her. Because of this I want the masthead to be a pastel colour, of which I will specifically decide once I have completed my photoshoot to see which colour would suit it best. The typography for this masthead will be Vogue as decided by my target audience and will be in all capitals. My main cover line for this edition is 'CARA PEARSON and her cosy crochet' which will interest my target audience because it has a focus on hobbies and interests which was voted as a popular magazine topic by my target audience through research. My other cover lines on this edition will link to other topics chosen by my target demographic such as mental health. These cover lines will be in a font that my research showed was appealing such as Apollo or Lucida Bright.

My website will again be featured on both my front page and content page as well as social media information on my content page for my audience to look into. Hearst will be featured on my barcode in the bottom left corner. The date will again be on the left hand side below Flourish and for this edition I plan to have the price of the magazine either in a puff or by the date. The main image on my front cover for this edition will feature Cara - a white British female who is bisexual - who will be wearing a home made crochet jumper and jeans with minimal makeup on. She will be seen through a mid shot and will have a direct gaze towards the camera, the same as my first edition. My contents page will be divided between a large image from Cara's photo shoot and an image from another photo shoot completed with Imarnie - a black British female, representing diversity through different social groups. This photo shoot will be completed in an urban setting with Imarnie wearing a casual outfit within natural makeup. Subtitles will be placed around these images with content that is relevant to a women's lifestyle magazine. The title Flourish will be at the top of the contents page for both editions, with the edition month placed after this. The fonts will stay the same size and style throughout the contents pages in order to create continuity. The fonts used will be appealing to my target demographic.
